Why Copper?
Copper has been worn by man since ancient Eqypt. People have long believed that copper has special qualities that improve or protect the health of the wearer. These beliefs are based on copper's physical composition and conducting properties. Copper stimulates collagen, which gives connective tissue its strength and resistance! A recent double blind study in Australia concluded that copper did in fact reduce joint pain and inflammation. The hypotheses is that copper is absorbed through skin and hair and is chelated to another compound that exerts anti-inflammatory actions. Even the Mayo Clinic has published studies that show that copper therapy has similar, if not better benefits than medication(s). 
Let's face it, times are tough. If we really can offer our pets relief of their joint pains with the simple addition of The Young Collar, it makes sense on many levels. Medications are expensive. Injections are painful for our pets and difficult for most of us to administer. The Young Collar is actually a "green" approach to pet care. It is a onetime purchase, we use recycled materials in our packaging and run a "green" facility. We make every collar by hand.
