The Young Collar is a new patented product that was created to reduce joint pain and discomfort for our pets. We are dog people, we love our animals and have raised, loved and enjoyed everything from dogs to goats, chickens to cats and livestock.
We live in a tiny mountain community and our animals and livestock are not only our companions, but coworkers and trusted friends. This situation allows us to be extremely familiar with our pets habits and discomforts. Over the years we have watched and suffered along with our pets whose hips and joints inevitably become painful and stiff from arthritis.
We ourselves have worn copper bracelets for many years and strongly believe in the relief that they provided our own painful joints. We began thinking, that if it worked for us, why not our pets? So the long process of trial and error started and some years later, we came up with a collar that was comfortable for our pets as well as being attractive and functional. Most importantly, we noted marked improvement in our oldest dog "Sluggo". Sluggo had been living up to his name more and more, he's now over 15 years old and a couple of years ago, we thought we might have to put him down. He's a big lab, over 150 pounds and he was just getting old. He just wasn't enjoying the things he had in the past and was spending more and more time in the house, rarely enjoying his chores as he had in the past. (Sluggo has always been very serious about his chores. They include: chasing squirrels and keeping the chickens safe from predators, bird hunting with us and making sure that we were all safe at the fishing creek.)
A few weeks after wearing his first collar, he was up chasing the school bus in the morning and enjoying hanging out with us. He was back to the loyal friend he had been for so many years. We put collars on all of our pets, even the younger ones as a preventative. We have not had any of our pets develop painful joints since.
We were convinced that the collar was working and our friends and neighbors starting asking us to make collars for their pets. Every single person who has tried the collar has had similar success with their pets. The demand for collars was keeping us busy. Soon it became apparent that we should make this product available for anyone who has a pet with joint pain. It's taken several years, but we can now make the collar available to the public.
